Biography
Hon. Akeem Olalekan Dauda
Together, we can turn the shared dreams for greater Ikeja into reality. My desire is to work with everyone to make Ikeja work for us all!
There comes a time when vision and opportunity align to propel actions for the desired societal change. For those who genuinely believe in the common good of Ikeja Local Government, the time to step forward and turn dream to reality is now.
Ikeja, the heartbeat of Lagos, has over the decades evolved as a vibrant and diverse community, rich in culture, commerce, and creativity. From our bustling markets and flourishing estates to our world-class malls and industries, Ikeja's potentials thrive on the abiding spirit and collective strength of the people much more than its physical assets.
Over the past months, Hon. Dauda has listened to the voices that matter most — the people. He engaged in meaningful conversations with cross-sections of youth, market leaders, senior citizens, entrepreneurs, and faith leaders to fully align his thoughts with the desires and aspirations of residents and stakeholders in Ikeja.
With humility and deep sense of conviction, he presents The I.K.E.J.A Agenda: Making Governance Work for All — a blueprint for rapid transformation rooted in progressive ideals that align with the aspirations of a broad spectrum of stakeholders, with priority attention to health, education, environment, technology, innovation, and social justice.
