Chairman Dauda Joins Muslim Faithful to Mark Eid-ul-Fitr at Anifowoshe Praying Ground

Office of the Chairman·

Today, March 20, 2026, Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Chairman Dauda, joined Muslim faithful across Ikeja to observe the Eid-ul-Fitr prayer, marking the successful completion of the 2026 Ramadan fast.

The prayer session was held at the Anifowoshe Muslim Praying Ground, Anifowoshe Primary School, Anifowoshe, Ikeja, where worshippers gathered in unity, gratitude, and devotion to Almighty Allah.

This year's Eid holds special significance for Chairman Dauda, as it marks the first such celebration under his administration as Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government — a moment he described as one of deep personal reflection on the values of sacrifice, discipline, and compassion instilled by the holy month of Ramadan.

Addressing the gathering, the Chairman urged residents to sustain the virtues of love, peace, and unity beyond Ramadan, calling on Ikeja's people to live in harmony, support one another, and contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of the local government.

He prayed that Almighty Allah accepts the prayers and sacrifices of all faithful, and grants continued peace, progress, and prosperity to Ikeja, Lagos State, and Nigeria as a whole.

Chairman Dauda also extended warm Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to all Muslim brothers and sisters, wishing them a joyous and fulfilling celebration.
