
Chairman Dauda Swears In Secretary to LGA, Supervisory Councillors, and Special Advisers

On Thursday, March 5, 2026, Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Chairman Dauda, presided over the swearing-in of newly appointed officials at the Ikeja Local Government Secretariat.
The oath of office was administered by the Director of Legal Services, Barr. Olubusola Bailey, who reminded the appointees of the legal and moral responsibilities attached to their respective offices.

In his remarks, Chairman Dauda congratulated the appointees and charged them to regard their appointments as a call to serve the people of Ikeja with dedication, loyalty, and integrity. He emphasised his administration's commitment to purposeful governance and encouraged the new officials to work collaboratively toward the development and welfare of Ikeja's residents.
The Chairman also urged the appointees to discharge their duties diligently, uphold transparency, and contribute meaningfully to the continued progress of the local government.
